This is going to be a new series to our blog, featuring what I’m currently obsessed with. One of my many obsessions is scarves. Yes, scarves. Why, you may ask. Here’s why. Let’s first start with a picture of me rocking one of the many I own from 2 years ago. (I haven’t taken a picture recently wearing one.)

It’s a horrible photo I know because of the terrible lighting but you get the idea. Now let me tell you how much I love scarves. I love them. Why, because they can take a basic outfit and take it to the next level.

With us being in fall and winter fastly approaching, you wear a basic top and spice it up with a colorful or pattern scarf. Very similar to what I did in the photo. I was wearing a v-neck long sleeve green shirt and spiced it up with a gingham multicolored scarf. I can’t tell you how many times I wear this scarf or another that someone is always asking where I got it from.

Scarves are pretty cheap and you can find them in any weight. You don’t have to buy a whole new wardrobe for fall or winter, just spice up what you have already from last year with a cute scarf. Ta dah, you have a whole new outfit.

Here’s a couple of my favs that you can purchase online or in store.

Leopard-Print Infinity Scarf (Available at Charlotte Russe for $12.50)
Love this one because of the neutral tone but you get a pop of print. Can’t go wrong with one animal print in your wardrobe.

My Honey Bee Scarf (Available at Charlotte Russe for $9.50)
A great scarf because of the print. You can pull any color out this print and put on a basic top. Then throw on this scarf. You’ll be on point.

Shawl (Available at H&M for $12.95)
Another great print scarf to own. If you love color then something like this would be perfect to own.

Floral Print Gauze Scarves (Available at Old Navy for $14.94)
Another fabulous printed scarf but now so bright as the one before. A print that you can make a statement without being too loud.
